The Washington State County Road Administration Board is one of the most cost effective organizations in the state. This is accomplished by maintaining a thorough degree of reporting and oversight activities. The Washington State Counties have a regulatory and effective partner in ensuring accountability in transportation spending and performance.
The agency receives funding from a portion of the counties' Motor Vehicle Fuel Tax (MVFT) withheld for state supervision, and from a small portion of the grant programs under CRAB's administration.
