Thurston - Tilley Road S

Tilley Road S is classified as a major collector and has an ADT of 1,238. This segment connects south county residents to the I-5 and SR 507 corridors via Old Highway 99. It also provides an alternate route to I-5 in the area turning into SR 121 near Maytown. The existing paved roadway is approximately 28 feet wide with paved shoulders varying in width from zero to three feet. The asphalt surface is in fair condition with sections of alligator cracking. Proposed improvements include roadway reconstruction, lane and shoulder widening, horizontal re-alignment at the Tilley/Old Hwy 99 intersection, 200 feet of left turn lane, stormwater treatment and dispersion, and removal of obstructions within the Tilley Rd clear zone.
