Walla Walla - Lyons Ferry

Lyons Ferry Road serves as a primary north-south connection in the County. This is a primary route between Walla Walla and Lyons Ferry Marina. This route is used for Agriculture, Recreation, and Industry. The project area has high steep cuts close to the roadway that are susceptible to sloughing and resulting in debris on the roadway. There are also two deficient horizontal curves within the project area that have had several roll over accidents over the years. This project will provide clear zone throughout and move the steep cuts further from the traveled roadway. The two horizontal curves will be reconstructed to current design standards.
