Pullman Airport Road is a vital link from Pullman, WA to Moscow, ID for the travelling public as well as commerce. Pullman Airport Road is the busiest road in Whitman County because of its proximity to two cities. As both Pullman and Moscow continue to grow, Whitman County has noticed the need to increase capacity on Pullman Airport Road because of this growth. This project will allow for increased capacity by providing a 3 lane (1 lane each direction, center turn lane) "all weather" roadway, bringing sight distance on horizontal and vertical curves up to current design standards, and addressing any needed safety improvements.
