Walla Walla - Mojonnier Rd

Mojonnier Road serves as a connector from the rural area south west of College Place into the city. The project area has a steep drop off on the south side of the road in several areas. The existing guardrail is substandard. There are plans for the City of College Place to build a school in a currently empty field south of Mojonnier Road that will tie into the road via Teal Road that is just east of the project limits. This will increase traffic and pedestrian activity on the road. The road is currently limited in width with no area for pedestrian travel. The project will widen the road and provide clear zone.
