Project involves a bridge replacement and roadway realignment. This roadway corridor provides significant farm to market access, recreational access to the Touchet River and is the primary access to a commercial rock quarry.
The bridge was structurally deficient and received federal grant funding for replacement. The existing roadway was also gravel and significant ongoing maintenance was required on both the road and bridge due to the commercial gravel trucks running over this section of the road.
A new all-weather paved road and new wider bridge was constructed. We have gotten nothing but positive feedback from everyone.
