Whitman - Green Hollow Road Phase 3

Green Hollow Road is a frequently used route between SR 23 and SR 26 in the central portion of Whitman County. Like most roads in Whitman County, this portion of Green Hollow was upgraded over the years to a paved road without using design standards. Green Hollow is an important part of the farm to market system in Whitman County. This project will allow for widening and resurfacing according to current design standards. Sight distance will be improved on several curves, using increased curve radii. Clear zones will be improved by mitigating hazards and constructing shallower embankment slopes. Work scope includes widening, grading, drainage improvements, and surfacing.
