This road is major arterial that runs north and south. It carry's a large amount of truck traffic and is a commuter route for residents who work in Spokane County.
The unimproved section of this road was narrow with deficient vertical curves and poor subgrade.
The RAP funded project widened the road to twenty eight feet and improved vertical curves to standard. Cement treated base was mixed in to paving materials and guardrail added for additional safety. Public feedback has been very positive with lots of compliments.
