Nine Canyon Road is a major farm to market road with heavy truck traffic. The gravel road required high amount of maintenance due to the truck impacts/damage. Poor sight distance and deficient horizontal curves made the roadway unsafe.
The gravel road from Beck Road to Mills Road was strengthened to an all weather structure and alignment was smoothed out with the construction improvements
The new roadway is now easier to maintain and much safer for trucks and other vehicles that share the facility.
